The Owls' 2012-2013 recruiting class is taking shape...
SG Chris Jenkins from Gill St. Bernards in New Jersey has verbally committed to the Owls. Welcome Chris!
That's great news. I saw Coach Jarvis on the sideline of the game Friday with what looked like two recruits - assuming it was Gaskins and Jenkins.
Glad Jenkins had a great time!
Can't wait to see you at The Burrow, Chris!!!
Jupiter center Grant Pelchen has committed to play basketball at FAU. Get the story and see Pelchen's video highlights here.
I've seen Grant play several times for Jupiter. He is a great defender and changes lots of shots.
A big-time get for Coach Jarvis. You can never have enough big men!!
Welcome Grant!!!
I've only seen Pelchen play once. Obviously the first thing you notice is his size. Then you watch him play and I was thinking with the right college coach, this guy could kick butt. Coach Jarvis must have seen the same thing. Glad he's coming to FAU and will be schooled by the Jarvis'. This kid has great potential and I can't wait to see him mature. Welcome Grant and even though I'm bias towards FAU, you made a great decision. This team is really falling into place. Nice piece to the puzzle.
Just got off the phone with Pelchen, the newest Owl.
Had some good things to say about FAU.
Check out what he told me and some other tidbits I've found out from some sources about his commitment by clicking here.
Welcome Grant!
I've always been a FAU sports fan. Baseball and football have been my main interest. But I have to say that this years basketball team and the start of next years class has me ready for the season. I have never been more interested in FAU basketball than I am right now. Can't wait.
Please welcome Jupiter center Grant Pelchen and Gill St. Bernards (NG) guard Chris Jenkins to FAU.
We have confirmed that both players have signed with the Owls and will officially join the program during the early signing period, which began Wednesday.
Welcome to FAU Grant and Chris!
Welcome Grant and Chris.Lets make this team solid. We have a good group of players that still need to gel. It will happen.
Just got word that Jenkins' NLI has arrived.
Jarvis on Jenkins: "He's going to be the best shooter we've ever had here."

I say let Moody put up 30+ a game, then Gantt will easily start to get his 20+ and the rest of the team will follow as will the wins! Let Moody do what he does best - score!
