We need to schedule a home game with UCF, USF, FSU, FLORIDA and MIAMI.    You could require that you have to buy season tickets in order to go to the game up to a certain date.     This will create a sell-out, bring excitement, increase revenue and bring on new fans.

A great idea, but UF and FSU will never come here

Never say never that FSU or Florida won't come.  Be creative; if we had to pay them to show-up that may even be an option.   At least if we could schedule one of these three schools (UCF, USF or Miami) at home each season, we are guaranteed a sell-out and some excitement.

Just like basketball, should keep FIU on the schedule every year as well.   Oh by the way, FSU played FIU in basketball in their dumpy arena recently, so there is a way to get the so called big boys to show-up.

I can't see FSU or UF coming down here for a game at FAU stadium.  The only possibility would be at a neutral site, like Dolphin Stadium, or whatever it's called these days.  Also keep in mind that shcools are beefing up their schedules because of the new playoff system, so scheduling these teams gets that much more difficult.

I'd like to see if Owlacces could ask Pat Chun about the chances of these Florida schools playing in our statdium someday.   Then we will know for sure.

I don't mind asking,  but I like @Chi25624 said, there is very little chance UF or FSU will be playing a road game at Boca Raton.

A USF or UCF series that would include a home game would have a much better chance of happening (and USF has played at FAU before making a trip to Lockhart Stadium in 2007)

I agree totaly with BIGOWLFAN he knows exactly what he is talking about. We should schedule these big schools in Florida to come play us. The reasons are they will make money they can get recruiting and we will have a sell out crowd.

So the Florida Gators would come to down here to play FAU  to make more money than they would playing a home game at The Swamp and needs FAU's help recruiting in South Florida, and would come here because the game would be sold-out?

I need some of what you guys are smoking.

I am pretty sure he is not suggesting that they play here instead of a home game at the swamp, seriously? They do have to play occ away games so it's not  a completely crazy idea but can't happen in a 30k seat stadium so it's going to be a while.
