Last year the season-opening sweep of Alabama marked the start of a super season. Can the Owls do it again?

FAU may have lost Corey Keller for a few games after he was hit in the helmet by a pitch in the ninth inning of the Owls' loss to Alabama. The pitch forced the helmet down onto his nose, potentially breaking it.

Keller is in fact playing today, less than 24 hours after being hit by a pitch and breaking his nose.

FAU baseball has lost three straight, but the concession stand is a big hit. When you go tomorrow, be sure to try the Mexican dog. Good stuff.

Huge pitching performance from Jeremy Straw, who shut down Alabama for eight innings to help the Owls avoid the sweep.

It would have been nice to sweep or win the series, but nice win in Sunday to salvage a win vs. an SEC team.

You know that nice, easy midweek game the Owls have on Tuesday against Florida Gulf Coast? Well, those guys just swept No. 13 Florida and their only loss on the season came to Notre Dame in extra innings.

Jeremy Strawn earned Sun Belt Pitcher of the Week honors for his 8 shutout innings of Alabama on Sunday.
