Tony Moore scored 15 touchdowns during his senior season.
One more to FAU
FAUOwlAccess has confirmed another player has committed to the Owls. While his name may be familiar, this commitment from the northern part of the state doesn't keep players out of the end zone - he finds it.

> The List: FAU's commitments and offers
Florida Atlantic’s 2010 recruiting class continues to grow.
Once again FAU turned to what has become a surprisingly fertile recruiting ground – the northern part of the state.
This latest commitment is a running back who carried the ball for a high school in the Big Bend area.
And his name may be familiar to FAU fans.
Tallahassee-Lincoln running back Tony Moore committed to FAU during this past weekend’s recruiting visit.
“I want to be a part of something that’s new, so I can start a new tradition,” Moore said. “Most of the colleges I looked at, they already have their traditions. FAU is on the rise.”
Last year FAU signed West Palm Beach-The King’s Academy linebacker Toney Moore, who redshirted this season. The newer Moore didn’t meet Toney, but heard plenty about him during the visit.
Moore the running back is a 5-foot-11, 215-pound ball carrier with 4.5 speed and a knack for finding the end zone. He scored 15 touchdowns this season, including three touchdowns on nine carries against Walkulla; then two weeks later he scored four times on 13 carries against Tallahassee-Leon.
The versatile back could play fullback for the Owls. Shakir also used him as a slot receiver in Lincoln’s three-wide out sets.
“That’s another reason why I picked FAU – it made more sense,” Moore said. “They play with two backs so you have more backs on the field at one time.”
Shakir said Moore’s versatility made him hard to take off the field during his two years at Lincoln.
“He has very soft hands,” Lincoln coach Yusuf Shakir said. “He can do a lot. With his size, he can be your one back, or he can match up physically with a linebacker or defensive end. He’s well put together. He doesn’t have a lot of fat on him.”
An ankle injury early in the season limited Moore’s yardage total to the 700-yard range for the season. He also played some linebacker for the Trojans.
Oregon, LSU and Georgia all talked with Moore during his junior season, but backed away after the injury. Bethune-Cookman had also offered Moore.
Redshirt freshman tight end Darian Williams hosted Moore on the visit – his lone official visit so far. Moore said he also bonded with defensive linemen Jamere Joseph and Dino Cox, both of whom he played against during his first two high school seasons in the Tampa area.
“He just saw an opportunity to play for a great coach – a Hall of Fame coach – in Howard Schnellenberger, in an up coming program," Shakir said. "And it’s a beautiful area - you can’t really beat all those things.”
