It took a day, but it appears FAU's efforts this weekend result in a commitment.

Coral Springs-Taravella defensive back Robert Miller told OwlAccess.com that he committed to play for FAU.

"It's a program that I can see myself playing in in the future," Miller said. "I think it will be a great experience."

Miller visited FAU as part of the Owls' first major high school recruiting weekend.

Miller is a 6-foot-1, 190 pound safety who could eventually move up to linebacker at FAU.

He held offers from Indiana and Western Michigan. FAU was his first visit.

Miller is now the 15th high school player committed to FAU's 2013 recruiting class. In December FAU signed five junior college players as part of that class.
