It was a blow-out from start to finish.
Troy appeared to be on its way to a rout of Florida Atlantic before the Owls came storming back to coast to an easy 88-67 victory Thursday night in Troy, Ala.
The Trojans raced out to a 13-0 lead before the Owls made their first field goal of the game.
But once the lid was off the basket, FAU found points easy to come by, while the Trojans went into a scoring drought. The Owls closed the half on a 21-2 run and controlled the game at halftime 42-29.
Greg Gantt had a season-high 25 points for the Owls (7-12, 3-3 Sun Belt Conference).
