Big problem
Despite a few good games from forwards Kore White and Jordan McCoy, Florida Atlantic has learned not to depend too much on its big men this season.

BOCA RATON – Florida Atlantic forward Jordan McCoy is coming off an impressive 18-point, 11-rebound performance against FIU on Saturday.
The Owls would like to see a repreat performance by McCoy when FAU plays host to Western Kentucky on Thursday, but aren't counting on it.
The trend for FAU forwards has been to follow big games with quiet ones.
Owls coach Mike Jarvis is glad when his big men produce, but has almost come to expect inconsistency.
"Our bigs are not a big part of our scoring," Jarvis said. "They haven't proven they can. We have to continue to get points out of guards and just hope that we can get some scoring out of one or two of our bigs on any given night.”
Forward Kore White continues to be the most puzzling player for FAU. White scored a season-high 18 points vs. Miami and then had four points in the Owls’ next game at Harvard.
Then White scored 17 points in FAU’s game at UALR only to follow that performance with two points two days later against Arkansas State.
“He's still young and maybe before it's all over, he'll come around,"Jarvis said.
