FAU football players continue to receive preseason recognition.

The latest is wide receiver William Dukes, who was named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list on Tuesday. The Biletnikoff Award is presented each year to the nation's top pass catcher.

Dukes, a rising junior, caught 63 passes for 979 yards and scored four touchdowns last season. He is expected to be the leader of what should be an extremely deep wide receiving corps for the Owls.

Last week tight end Nexon Dorvilus was named to the Mackey Award watch list.

Dukes is one of six Conference USA players named to the Biletnikoff Award watch list, joining East Carolina's Justin Hardy, Marshall's Tommy Shuler, Tulane's Ryan Grant, Tulsa's Keyarris Garrett and UTEP's Jordan Leslie.

Florida Atlantic officially joined Conference USA in July.
