Polo anyone?

Tavious Polo and the defense put together another good workout on Monday.

Florida Atlantic players didn’t mind being out in the heat for Monday’s voluntary workouts – it was cooler on the practice field than in the Oxley Center, where the air conditioner was broken.

The Owls defense stood up to the offense again on Monday. Tavious Polo intercepted a pass during the early portion of the 7-on-7 drills and Anthony Rodriguez nabbed one during the drive portion of the workout.

The defense also made several stops on downs, including the final drive of the afternoon.

Jeff Van Camp and Graham Wilbert both threw touchdown passes. David Kooi, however, had an off afternoon and struggled to move the offense.
