Florida Atlantic’s defensive play continues to improve over the summer, and the unit had its best workout yet on Monday.

The defense kept the offense out of the end zone on both drives, ending both possessions with an interception.

Linebacker David Hinds, who returned to the workout after sitting out the last few with a sore shoulder, nabbed the first one during the drive portion and deflected another pass during the preliminaries that wound up in the arms of safety Ed Alexander.

Linebacker Randell Johnson also recorded an interception on what turned out to be the last play of the workout.

Take a look at those plays in the 3-2-See video above.

The Owls return to the field for their final voluntary workout of the summer on Wednesday.
