Florida Atlantic has the home-field disadvantage for this game in a series that the home team has never won. But that’s not the biggest issue for the Owls. Although there has been progress this year, the FAU offense has yet to get in a groove and it won’t be easy to finally find a rhythm vs. an aggressive tricky defense like the 3-3-5 that the Warhawks use. If the Owls struggle to score points, I haven’t seen anything from the FAU defense to think it will slow down ULM. Pick: ULM 24, FAU 21

This hasn't been a good week of practice for FAU. Several offensive starters missed days with that flu that's going around, causing the workouts to look disjointed. Still, the coaches say they aren't too concerned about ULM's 3-3-5 defense causing problems, and I believe them. Look for big days out of Alfred Morris and Avionne Rolle as FAU posts its first win of the season. Pick: FAU 24, ULM 17.
