Alfred Morris' pounding style reminds Howard Schnellenberger of a more famous running back.
Running with power
It's not often an FAU player get compared with a Hall of Famer, but that's the type of praise Alfred Morris is drawing from his coach, who compared Morris to former Dolphins fullback Larry Csonka.

Video: Morris running like Csonka?
In the 50 years since Howard Schnellenberger starting coaching, he's seen few running backs have the kind of afternoon Alfred Morris put together against Louisiana-Lafayette. In fact, the offensive explosion prompted the coach to compare Morris to another former Schnellenberger running back who ended up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame - Miami Dolphins fullback Larry Csonka, who Schnellenberger coached.
Morris rushed for 181 yards and two touchdowns against the Ragin' Cajuns, and he did that despite spraining an ankle in the second half.
The running back, who leads the Sun Belt in rushing, was held out of contact drills during Wednesday's practice. Morris, though, says he's feeling better and will play in Saturday's homecoming game against Middle Tennessee.
