BOCA RATON - Florida Atlantic's 2013 non-conference football schedule is set and includes games against Miami, South Florida, Auburn and New Mexico State, FAU Athletic Director Pat Chun told Owl Access.

The game against New Mexico State will be a home game, with the other three non-conference games on the road.

The entire schedule will be announced once the 2013 conference schedule is finalized by the Sun Belt Conference.

In 2013 the Sun Belt Conference is expected to play eight conference games with the conference likely to go to a nine-game league schedule possibly in 2015.

FAU will be playing Miami for the first time in a three-game series. The Hurricanes are scheduled to play in Boca Raton in 2015 and at Miami in 2016.

The Owls' game at USF will be the third time the Bulls have played host to FAU.

FAU has played Auburn once before, losing to the Tigers 30-14 last season.

New Mexico State defeated the Owls 35-7 in 2004 in the only previous meeting with FAU.

Cute kid

Obviously to improve their field goal kicking :) *ducks*

Last week FAU added Niko Peros, a 2-year-old suffering from Fanconi anemia, to its football team. Here's a story about it from Care To Click .

Don't look for QB Quez Johnson to be named C-USA Offensive Player of the Week. He wasn't nominated. FAU chose Lucky Whitehead instead.

Free falling...45-38. WKU won the first half 31-14. FAU won the second half 31-7. Almost like watching two seperate games.
