Former Florida Atlantic coach Howard Schnellenberger hasn't been exactly keeping a low profile the last few days.
He's been in high demand in the Bluegrass State recently regarding the state of football at his alma mater, Kentucky.
On Sunday, the other shoe dropped and Kentucky Athletic Director Mitch Barnhart announced the Wildcats are indeed looking for a new coach. Wonder if they will solicit any input from Schnellenberger, who made a good case for the type of coach UK should be looking for to replace Joker Phillips.
The early fireworks created by Schnellenberger is a great way to kick off November – or Movember.
Schnellenberger is helping with FAU's Movember campaign to raise money and awareness for prostate and testicular cancer. Schnellenberger is encouraging men to grow mustaches much like his trademark pushbroom-style 'stache.
