The United States Women's Soccer team will play a match vs. China at FAU Stadium on Dec. 15, U.S. Soccer announced Monday.
The match will be the final one of 2012 for Team USA.
Several members of the U.S. 2012 gold medal winning team and the 2011 FIFA Women's World Cup team, including Abby Wambach and Hope Solo, played for the magicJack during its one season in the WPS to large crowds at the FAU Soccer Stadium in 2011.
Besides playing host to the Owls football team, FAU Stadium has been the site for the Major League Lacrosse All-Star game and The Battle of Florida all-star college football game.
The match is part of the 2012 Fan Tribute Tour with Team USA facing China in Detroit on Dec. 8 and in Houston on Dec. 12 before playing in Boca Raton for its first match in South Florida in 13 years.
