STATESBORO, Ga. – The FAU women’s basketball team had its lowest-point total of the season in a 60-43 loss at Georgia Southern on Wednesday.

The Owls (6-6) started slow, missing their first 11 shots, but trailed just 20-19 at halftime. The Eagles (7-5) opened the second half on a 20-12 run to take control of the game.
Georgia Southern’s Carolyn Whitney had a game-high 16 points – one of three Eagles in double-figures.
FAU was led by Carla Stubbs, who scored 13 points on 6-of-6 shooting from the field to lead the Owls.
