Florida Atlantic’s Kelly McHugh made a hole-in-one Thursday on his way to firing a 2-over-par 73 Thursday during the first round of the NCAA Men’s Golf Southeast Regional at RedTail Golf Club in Sorrento.
McHugh is tied for 53rd after the first round of play after his ace at No. 15.
Arizona’s Tarquin MacManus leads the tournament with a 8-under-par 63.
McHugh, a sophomore, is the first male golfer to participate in an NCAA Division I Regional in FAU history.
