FAUOwlAccess.com: You participated in the Olympics. Do your divers know about that that?
Michelle Sandelin: I think most of them know...

FAUOwlAccess.com: Do your divers ask you about that experience?
Sandelin: Not really…maybe in passing if they had a question about the experience, but not so much the competition itself.

FAUOwlAccess.com: What is the most interesting thing in your office?
Sandelin: Well, my office is mostly the pool deck or my laptop at home, so that is hard to say. I am always on the go.
I do always have a change of clothes with me though in case I fall into the pool while coaching...that has happened two times so far. (Laughing)

FAUOwlAccess.com: How did you get started in coaching?
Sandelin: I started coaching little kids lessons programs and I am very passionate about my sport, so it has evolved into coaching at the university level. I truly love what I do.

FAUOwlAccess.com: What is your favorite part about coaching at Florida Atlantic?
Sandelin: I have a young team with a lot of talent and room to grow into very successful divers.
