FAU football's season opener moved to Thursday, Sept. 2

Florida Atlantic’s season-opening football game at UAB, originally scheduled for Sept. 4, will be moved to Thursday Sept. 2.
FAU has opened the season on a Thursday night two times in program history. In 2002 vs. USF (L, 51-10) in 2003 vs. MTSU (W, 24-19).
Here’s FAU’s new schedule:

Sept. 25 vs. North Texas
